The Timeshare Board Members Association (TBMA) is a non-profit corporation. Since 2011, we’ve become the leader in HOA Board Member and on-site Resort Management education and networking, and proudly serve a growing base of participating members.  TBMA conferences are must-attend events which address the key industry issues and provide invaluable opportunities for members and industry professionals to connect.

Thanks to the enthusiastic support of our industry sponsors, TBMA membership and conference attendance are offered free of charge to our resort members.  TBMA also partners with TimeSharing Today Magazine to publish resort governance and management articles and videos which help educate our membership.

Since its inception, TBMA has focused on its mission to provide education through a dynamic, continually evolving agenda. Our association seeks the active participation of HOA Board Members, On-site Resort Managers, and industry professionals, to help TBMA in carrying out its mission and in serving our Membership.  Join us today and plan to attend our next conference – we look forward to your participation!

About the Timeshare Board Members Association

The TBMA Story

The idea for forming an association for HOA Board Members and On-site Resort Mangers stemmed from an email sent in late 2009 to TimeSharing Today from Jesse Cetano, an HOA Board Member at a resort in Stateline, NV. Because of that email, Shep Altshuler, Publisher of TimeSharing Today, scheduled a series of conference calls among several Board Members and industry experts to determine the level of need for an association of this type.

Those exploratory conference calls ran through most of 2010. The signal was clear –we needed to move forward.  In early 2011, The TBMA Advisory Committee was formed and the Inaugural Meeting of TBMA was held at the Scottsdale Camelback Resort, Scottsdale, AZ, in October 2011.  The late Jerry Sikes delivered the keynote address, and Jerry’s experience and support helped make that historic meeting a tremendous success.

Based on positive feedback from attendees and generous financial support from our sponsors, TBMA has been able to establish itself as the leading educational resource for owner-controlled timeshare resorts.  Our second conference was held in Orlando, FL in April 2012, where attendance grew to 100 and participants again confirmed the need for TBMA as an important resource and forum for networking among our members.

2020 marked our 10th year of fulfilling our mission.  We look forward to your participation!
